The Cape Accommodation is located a scenic two and a half hours drive from Melbourne via the South Gippsland or Bass Highways, only minutes from Walkerville South along the quiet country Cape Liptrap Road.  The Cape Accommodation is set in seven peaceful acres combining bushland, lawns and bird filled gardens, commanding stunning views over Waratah Bay to Wilson's Promontory Peninsula (the most southerly tip of the Australian mainland) and its offshore islands. Located thirty minutes from Wilson's Promontory gates and the remarkable beaches of Waratah Bay Reserve.

Cape Liptrap Coastal Park is a narrow peninsula formed by the spine of the Hoddle Range running out to sea. It consists of steep cliffs of folded marine sediments, flanked by rock pinnacles and wave cut platforms. Cape Liptrap was declared a Coastal Park in 1997 to protect its strikingly beautiful scenery. This area offers spectacular ocean views with an historic lighthouse at the end of the quiet country Cape Liptrap Road. The lighthouse was originally built in 1913 to improve the safety of coastal shipping. The light is still operational and has a range of 18 nautical miles (over 43 kilometres).

We are conveniently located to some of South Gippsland's hidden treasures. Enjoy the tranquility of the nearby beaches of Waratah Bay. Walkerville South, only eight minutes away.  Wilson's Promontory with its beautiful flora, fauna and nature walks, local wineries, craft shops, fishing, boating, golf course, and galleries, all of which are within easy driving distances for our guests to enjoy. Lime kilns dating back to the 1880s are to be found in ruins at Walkerville South. Other places of interest include the Bald Hills Wetland Reserve and the nearby towns of Fish Creek and Foster.
